全国人大代表、徐工集团工程机械股份有限公司总工程师单增海提到，全地面起重机如今已经通过技术升级，关键指标达到了全球领先，整机国产化率由71%提高到100%，所有的关键零部件均实现了中国制造。
超级移动式起重机，被认为是工程机械中技术最为复杂、研发难度最大的产品之一。“我们团队的200多名技术专家、100多名高级技师，十年努力，先后攻克了行业公认的7大项关键技术，完全形成了千吨级起重机的自主研发和制造能力。”单增海说。
工程机械是造福人类的产业，它的发展水平从某种程度上衡量了一个国家装备制造业的整体发展水平，其核心竞争力就是关键技术创新。单增海表示，这5年，我们把全地面起重机最大起重能力从1200吨提高到2600吨，其所安装风机的高度从100米提高到160米，风电机组的安装功率从2.5兆瓦提高到8.5兆瓦，在全球是唯一实现了陆上风机吊装工况的全面覆盖。5年来，我们先后研发了全球最大吨位的1.5万吨最大塔机，700吨液压挖掘机等一系列国产首台套重大装备。
在卡塔尔世界杯场馆、丹格特全球最大的单体炼油厂建设中，以及世界上其他一系列大型施工现场，出现了越来越多的国产装备的身影。就在前不久上映的电影《流浪地球2》中，在一些“宇宙级”施工的场景中，国产工程器械也扮演了特殊演员的角色。徐工由默默无闻发展到全球前三、起重机械世界第一，走出了一条高质量发展道路。
