例如：分组学习的目的是在有限的时间内，让每一个学生都主动参与学习，让学生在自主学习中得到发展树立信心，养成良好的习惯形成有效的学习策略。我认为，小组学习最大的优点在于，培养了学生们的合作精神，使他们学会了与他人合作，具备了合作完成问题的能力。合作是人类相互作用的基本形式，在人的发展中没有一种发展是与别人无关的。从小培养学生与人合作的能力是老师义不容辞的职责。
分组之后任何一位组内成员都有责任掌握教学内容，只有每位成员的积极性都调动起来，学生之间才能互相帮助，互相合作。比如我们的综合实践活动课需要大量的实际数据，如此大的工作量靠一个人的力量是不行的，只有分组，各负其责然后交流分享成果，才能共赢。这种合作的意义远远超过了学习本身。另外，小组合作学习，能充分调动学生学习积极性，使每一位学生都有了主动学习和创新的机会。由于学生的好胜心理和集体荣誉感，所以在分配到任务后，他们都积极去完成。在这期间，学生处于积极地心态。
