背景专业要求：
第一年的入学要求：

1、国家留学基金委曼彻斯特大学奖学金(CSC-UCLJointResearchScholarship，缩写CSC-UCL)：
也即“国家优秀自费留学生奖学金”，只提供给PhD学生。英语水平必须达到学校无条件录取要求。向CSC的申请时间为每年的3月20日-4月5日。该奖学金获奖者毕业后必须回国服务2年。
2、校长博士奖学金(President‘sDoctoralScholarAward，缩写PDS)：
只有100个名额，只针对PhD学生，覆盖全额学费外加￡1，000/年的生活补助。该奖学金需与英国、欧盟及其它所有国家的学生共同竞争。该奖学金分设与各个学院(Faculty)下，需通过各个学院申请。
